Why We are Excited for UNITED 2020 Being a Virtual Event

When NAEC announced that United in Houston would be a virtual event, we were initially skeptical that it could still be compelling to both exhibitors and attendees.

After the exhibitor orientation, our attitude changed 180 degrees.

What made us comfortable is that the show organizers have chosen to stick to the original agenda. For us, that meant that we could still exhibit on a trade show floor and connect with people who are genuinely interested in what we have to offer to the industry.

The virtual platform will enable people to “stop by” our booth during the normal show hours. We will be able to meet online, answer your questions, understand your challenges, and showcase our software. An exciting difference is that the booth will be accessible 24×7 for thirty days after the show to accommodate people who were unable to visit the booth while the show is on. Given everyone’s busy lifestyles, this is probably the best feature. After show hours, the booth will be staffed by a video, downloadable content, and a way to reach out to us and book an online live meeting.

The technology we’ll be using sounds and looks great. Of course, we won’t really know until showtime if this will work, but for now, we are getting ready by creating show specific materials and making sure to give people the worthwhile experience they deserve if they take time out of their day to talk to us.

We exhibit at many conferences; most have said “see you in 2021”. The spirit and attitude demonstrated by NAEC for suppliers so far has been more impressive than what other larger shows have sent forth.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at our booth in September.
