November is a time to celebrate here at FIELDBOSS. For the second year in a row, we have been recognized for our work by Resco.net. This year we have been honored with the 2021 Business Impact of the Year Award. This is a huge accomplishment considering that Resco has 500+ partners worldwide.
The Business Impact of the Year Award recognizes a partner that made the biggest impact on their customer’s business. Project creativity, strong business practices, and innovation were also considered. FIELDBOSS was recognized for the work we did to solve a complex client issue that is a growing trend in the field service industry.
Why Did We Win?
Building owners, property managers, and engineers want to be able to self-serve what work has been done on their equipment with ease. Contractors want a secure solution that will only show the information they want their customers to see and standardization in the maintenance work being performed in the field.
We built a solution that enables that by combining functionality from FIELDBOSS, Resco Mobile and Microsoft Power Apps Portal.
Set up the maintenance service requirements for a customer
Periodically generate those service requirements and send them to mechanics mobile devices
Monitor, review and approve the work being done by the mechanics via system processes and visual dashboards
Provide customer contacts with secure access to the information pertinent to them
While performing service onsite they can use a barcode to scan a piece of equipment
Pull up and review service history performed by themselves or others
Generate an inspection checklist for that type of maintenance for that piece of equipment (Exp. Start Up for AC Unit 1 or Category 1 Test for Elevator 4)
Populate the color coded and logic-based checklists, add photos, and identify key information about the equipment found during inspection
With secure access can log in to the customer portal and review the service work done throughout the entire building and at a per piece of equipment level
They can see the specifics, tests, results, and mechanic feedback directly on their phone or computer
This award means a lot to us. It illustrates that FIELDBOSS is a solution built to handle common field service industry requirements but is also flexible enough to deliver complex solutions for new requirements that develop over time in an ever-changing industry. It is also a testament to our relationship with our customers to continuously improve our software and help them deliver the best service to their customers!
