FIELDBOSS Service Activity Times & Statuses on Mobile

Being aware of what your technicians are doing throughout the day is vital to optimizing how your company manages Service Calls and Maintenance. Instead of wasting time contacting technicians one at a time to see what they’re doing and where they are, you will be provided with real time updates from our Mobile app onto the FIELDBOSS Schedule Board. Technicians utilizing our Mobile app will provide updates on their job status in real time throughout the workday as they make their way through their dispatched Service Activities. These correspond to status changes on the Schedule Board allowing the Service Department to view what a technician is doing throughout the day.


Clock In

  • When a technician is ready to begin working on a Service Activity, they will Clock In directly inside the Service Activity. This information will sync back to the office in real time and let you know that they have started work and are beginning to travel to site.


  • When the technician finishes traveling and arrives to the work site, they will open the app again and mark that they have Arrived. This again will sync back the office letting you know they are currently on site working on the Service Activity.

Clock Out/Done

  • Finally, once a technician has completed the job and then selects the Clock Out/Done buttons on the Service Activity, a few things happen. The information will transfer back to the office letting you know they have completed the work. Marking it Done will also automatically create and update a Timecard associated to the Service Activity with all the time information. This eliminates the need for any paper forms as the technician has the ability to view and edit these from the FIELDBOSS Mobile App.
